Fleet Directory .com was originally developed as a quick reference for trucking company links visited regularly as part of my duties as office manager for a trucking publication classified/recruiting ad sales office. Since 1999, it has grown into a small home-based operation, tended and updated daily as I receive link requests, questions and suggestions.

I have tried to keep focused on the initial intent of the site, which is to serve as a simple alpha directory of company web sites – Adding a search feature, locations and categories for convenience.

Responding to many link requests from trucking-related products/service sites, I added areas where these companies may post or advertise as needed.
