Fleet Directory .com was originally
developed as a quick reference for trucking company links visited
regularly as part of my duties as office manager for a trucking
publication classified/recruiting ad sales office. Since 1999, it has
grown into a small home-based operation, tended and updated daily as I
receive link requests, questions and suggestions.
I have tried to keep focused on the
initial intent of the site, which is to serve as a simple alpha directory
of company web sites – Adding a search feature, locations and categories
for convenience.
Responding to many link requests from
trucking-related products/service sites, I added areas where these
companies may post or advertise as needed. All of the listings in
the Products/Services categories are direct request.
Fleet Directory .com is meant to serve
as your own expanded "Favorites" folder for the many transportation
industry company web sites you search and research every day. I believe it
is the most comprehensive (free) listing of its kind available on the
internet.
